Much like the symbol of their sign - the crab - cancers are quick to withdraw into their impenetrable shells when threatened; being highly emotionally attuned and sensitive, expect them to withdraw often.
Because of that deep emotional base, expect them to be, well, crabby pretty often as they dive deep into their powerful feelings. Cancers are also maternal and nurturing by nature, they are wonderful friends, they are highly intelligent and naturally poetic.
If you’ve ever read the poet Rimbaud, so many of his emotionally dramatic lines could sum up a Cancer quite well: “I have wept too much! The dawns are heartbreaking, every moon is atrocious, the sun bitter.” Yeah, they’re dramatic, and we love them for it.
